Charity Donations For The Latest Full Year
It is not generally known that Freemasons locally, regionally and nationally contribute significant amounts to non-Masonic charities.
The Grand Lodge of England donates millions of pounds annually to non-Masonic charities world-wide, typically some 50% of its total charitable donations for any given year. Similarly, the Provincial Grand Lodge for Staffordshire donates tens of thousands of pounds to non-Masonic charities, again typically about 50% of its total annual charitable donations.
St Peter's Lodge itself donated £1,000 in total to the following non-Masonic organisations in 2014:
- Green Park Special School
- MacMillan Nurses
- The Well Food Bank
- Beacon Centre For The Blind
